Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio are set to have a confrontation on the upcoming episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Logan Paul had a clear plan in mind when he entered his boxing match against Dillon Danis. He intended to use his post-fight platform to set up a segment involving the WWE United States Champion.
Following his victory via disqualification over Danis in the co-main event of the Misfits Boxing: PRIME Card in England, Paul openly challenged Rey for a shot at the U.S. title.
During an appearance on “The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani,” WWE Hall of Fame legend Rey Mysterio confirmed that he and Logan Paul would indeed come face-to-face on the upcoming SmackDown episode.
It is widely believed that the two will eventually compete for the U.S. title at the WWE Crown Jewel 2023 premium live event, scheduled for later this month in Saudi Arabia.
