In a follow-up to a previous headline about WWE’s touring schedule changing beginning in October once Smackdown moves to FOX, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that based on this new schedule, WWE will be running a Raw house show directly against the live Smackdown on Friday but no Smackdown house show against Raw (which is what is currently happening).
Another strategy WWE will be employing is schedule Smackdown Live on Friday and Raw on Monday in cities not too far away from each other. This would enable the production trucks to drive to Smackdown for Friday and then head over to Raw for the Monday night show.
This would not only lower costs but would lead to more Saturday night house shows that would air on the WWE network as specials.
