Daniel Bryan’s entrance into the Royal Rumble match later this month eliminated him from contention as a potential Roman Reigns opponent at the PPV, which is notable, as he was previously slotted to be facing Reigns in a title match at this show.
Bryan and Goldberg remain the top two names likely to be wrestling Roman for the Universal title at WrestleMania, according to the Observer Newsletter.
Randy Orton vs. The Fiend is expected to take place again at Royal Rumble, in some sort of stipulation match.
The Observer suggests the tentative idea is to simply call it a “Firefly Fun House Match”, which WWE previously used at WrestleMania 36.
