It looks like talents on the NXT roster can expect an extra chunk of change thanks to the new USA Network television deal.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with the recent announcement of NXT getting a TV deal, the belief is that the top tier NXT wrestlers will now get new contracts that are closer to the figures that main roster talent get rather than a figure close to what their developmental deals are worth.
Most talent on their way in start from $40k to $60k per year but WWE is also likely to raise those offers as well due to the leverage wrestlers have now with AEW offering contracts starting at $100k while giving them an easier schedule and a clearer path to stardom.
Additionally, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter adds that the word going around backstage is that WWE will be changing all existing developmental deals to main roster type contracts while getting aggressive on recruiting new signees.
