WWE has run more ideas to have another Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania, but it has been all but abandoned for this year’s PPV.
The belief is that it would play into the Paul Heyman storyline with him leading Lesnar in past years and now aligning with Reigns, notes the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Independent sources also have confirmed that while there is a good chance that Lesnar will be back with WWE at some point, it is unlikely to happen until the company is running shows with a live audience and/or they are able to travel to Saudi Arabia again for their twice annual events.
