— Yesterday’s significant TNA leadership changes were described as simply Anthem restructuring their organization. With new boss George Veras taking over, the departures of Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme were simply a case of Veras wanting to bring in his own hand-picked team to run the production side of the company. PWInsider.com described Veras’ role with TNA as similar to Lee Fitting’s role within WWE – overseeing everything on production.
— TNA talent were said to be very happy about John E. Bravo and Ingrid Isley getting promoted into bigger role as both individuals are well liked in the locker room. There wasn’t a lot of concern over the other changes at the top, according to PWinsider.
— Josh Alexander’s farewell match for TNA against Eric Young will air as the main event on tonight’s TNA IMPACT show. Alexander has hired renowned sports agent Barry Bloom to represent him in any upcoming contract negotiations and it is expected that both WWE and AEW will have interest in signing him.
— Next week’s TNA show will be aired live from Full Sail University, which used to be the site of NXT shows in the distant past. It is expected that multiple NXT talent will be a part of the show.
