The plans for the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) weekly television show on TNT, at least in terms of day and time, appear to be all but finalized.
Dave Meltzer noted in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW’s weekly TV show is considered “a lock” to air in prime time on Wednesday nights on TNT.
The report also noted that there are still ongoing meetings taking place between AEW and TNT officials to determine other details, such as “battle strategies” and to consider more ideas from the TNT side of things.
Unless plans change, which is always possible but at this point doesn’t seem likely, the weekly AEW on TNT television show will air during the 8-10pm Eastern Time slot on Wednesday nights, which the premiere episode slated for Wednesday, October 2nd.
AEW’s weekly show is almost a lock now to appear on Wednesdays during prime time. There are still ongoing meetings to determine more details, battle strategies and to consider more ideas from the TNT side, but unless something drastic changes, it will be Wednesday during the 8-10 PM time slot and debut October 2.
