Backstage Update On How WWE’s New Twitch/Cameo Policy Affects Female Wrestlers Most

With WWE sending notice to talent that they would be taking over their Twitch accounts while paying them a percentage of revenues that would ultimately count against their downside guarantee, this has led to many “unhappy campers.”

One talent noted that “everyone is mad” but nobody ever ends up standing up against the company.

With WWE now looking at running and capitalizing on Twitch, the belief is that the female talent stand to suffer the most as many of them were able to make a good deal of money through that platform as well as through Cameo.
