Updates have recently surfaced regarding Jeff Hardy’s mandatory World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) contract extension.

Apparently there is a good reason that despite signing their contracts on the same date and for the same length of time, Matt Hardy’s WWE contract expired earlier this year, while Jeff Hardy still has several months remaining on his.

Matt and Jeff Hardy signed their last WWE contracts on the same day for the same length but while Matt’s expired earlier this year, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE added 20 months to Jeff’s deal, as they calculated that is the amount of time he owes them for being inactive due to shoulder and knee surgeries.
