– WWE has cancelled a few house shows during the November United Kingdom tour but haven’t given a reason why they made this move. The 11/5 show in Nottingham, 11/6 in Birmingham, 11/8 in London and 11/9 in Minehead were all given the ax.
– At this point this is simply speculation but the changes to the above schedule may have taken place because WWE is moving around the date for the next Saudi Arabia PPV. As of now, the show was scheduled to take place on Friday 11/1 but that would cause a bit of a conflict since Smackdown would already be airing on Fridays on FOX. In order to reschedule the Saudi date, the UK schedule would also need to be modified. The other option for WWE was to run a split crew for the Saudi event and Smackdown Live.
– eWrestling.com reader Big Martyn sent in word that WWE has changed a televised Monday Night Raw scheduled for Monday, November 11 to a non-televised house show. This would also seem to be related to the changes described above. Here is the message they are sending out to people who purchased tickets:
“Important changes to the WWE event – Please note the event will no longer be televised… although no longer a RAW TV show, the line up of WWE superstars scheduled to appear remains the same.”
