In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, a fan inquired whether Booker T faced any backlash for this slip-up. According to the report, he did not receive any negative attention backstage, as people in the company understood that he meant to say “pop my neck.” The incident was regarded more as an amusing error than anything serious. The report also mentioned that unless someone intentionally makes an inappropriate comment, there are typically no issues backstage.
Booker T has been part of the NXT commentary team since October 2022 and has occasionally filled in on the main roster commentary.
