As previously reported, former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has signed a contract with WWE. The latest edition of Fightful Select Answers provides additional details about Hendry’s new contract with the company.
Sean Ross Sapp noted that Joe Hendry is on a “main roster level deal” with WWE, indicating that he is being compensated above the minimum pay rate for a main roster-level Superstar.
Sapp also mentioned that Hendry’s signing could lead to a wrestler like current NXT Champion Ricky Saints or reigning NXT North American Champion Ethan Page moving up to the main roster. He suggested that Hendry might be utilized similarly to Mr. Iguana, appearing on main roster shows periodically.
Earlier this year, Hendry competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Additionally, he faced Randy Orton in a losing effort at WrestleMania 41: Night 2.
