Backstage WWE News Update On Plans For Upcoming Survivor Series Men’s WarGames Match

As previously reported, the rumored lineup for the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series included The Vision’s Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory.

They were set to face a team consisting of CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and either Jimmy Uso or LA Knight. However, Rollins suffered a shoulder injury during his match at Crown Jewel and is expected to be out for six months following surgery.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that with Rollins unable to compete, Logan Paul is likely to take his place.

Meltzer noted that despite Punk’s recent comments criticizing Roman Reigns, the plan is still for Punk, Reigns, The Usos, and probably LA Knight to form one team. Although Jacob Fatu was rumored to be a part of the team, he is currently injured and out of action.

Meltzer added that Fatu could still join the opposing team alongside The Vision and Lesnar if he is cleared to wrestle. However, he just underwent surgery, and it is uncertain whether he will be ready by the end of the month, as the specifics of his injury and surgery remain unknown.

WWE has not yet announced the participants for both the men’s and women’s WarGames matches, but updates will be provided as they become available. WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is scheduled for Saturday, November 29th, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The event will be available for live streaming on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
