Bandido Apologizes For Booking Travis Banks

Bandido took to social media this week to apologize for booking Travis Banks for the battle royal at the Big Lucha event on September 16.

Banks was accused by Emilia McKenzie in NXT UK (Millie McKenzie) last June of damaging her mental health and self-confidence during their private relationship when she was 17 years of age.

After the news surfaced, Banks was released by WWE.

Bandido took to Twitter to issue this apology for booking Banks at the 9/16 show at his gym.

“On behalf of Big Lucha [and] Bandido’s Gym I want to apologize for my mistake yesterday. I don’t want to give any excuses. I am learning the difference between being a wrestler who just plays a small part of an event [and] being the person who is responsible for everything that happens when it’s my show. I accept responsibility [and] sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended. I promise to do better in the future.Palms up together.”
