Apparently Batista’s return at this past Monday night’s edition of WWE RAW was a bigger deal than some might have expected.
The segment featuring the longtime WWE Superstar and emerging Hollywood actor on Monday’s show, which saw “The Animal” viciously attack former Evolution member Ric Flair during his 70th Birthday Celebration, has drawn over seven million views on YouTube.
The video was uploaded on WWE’s official YouTube channel late Monday evening / early Tuesday morning following the live episode of WWE RAW on the USA Network, which itself drew 2.992 million viewers, and as of this writing, has drawn 7,209,784 views (7.2+ million). The video has been liked / upvoted 111,000+ times and disliked / downvoted 3,800+ times.
The video is titled, “Batista attacks Ric Flair to send a message to Triple H: Raw, Feb. 25, 2019.” It includes the official YouTube hashtags of “#Raw” and “#HappyBirthdayRic” listed in the headline, however nothing about Batista, in particular, is included. The official description for the video doesn’t actually include Batista by name, other than a reference to his nickname, as well. It reads “As Raw celebrated the 70th birthday of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, The Animal attacked his former Evolution mentor to get the attention of The Game.”
