The Hug N Boss Connection Qualify For Women's Elimination Chamber Match

Bayley Says She And Sasha Banks Are Destined For At Least One More Match

Bayley recently spoke with Sports Illustrated for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.

During the discussion, the WWE women’s wrestling veteran spoke about how she and Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) will always be destined for one more match, as well as how 2024 will be the year that defines her career.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where she touches on these topics with her thoughts.

On her classic NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn match in 2015 with Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks): “We’ll always be destined for one more match. We’re going to live on forever because of that match, and it’s something we can carry on forever.”

On wanting to headline WrestleMania: “Only a few people believe it will happen. But everyone will believe it soon.”

On her character: “My character changes have always aligned with how I feel in my life and with how my character is developing. The Hugger stuff, people watched me grow up. There was a real connection there. Fans became like family. When my character did start to change, it was like my family watched me turn into a bratty teenager going through a rough patch. I wouldn’t have had the connection to do that without my time as The Hugger.”

On how 2024 will be the year that defines her career: “All my experience, especially after going through the [ACL] injury, the pressure of having new girls rely on you, that’s a lot of pressure, but it made me feel ready for everything. This year is going to be the one that defines my career. It will define who I am and what I’ve brought to the wrestling industry.”
