The current contract status of Becky Lynch is quite an interesting news story this week, especially after “The Man” addressed online rumors and reports in a new tweet posted on Friday.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com, editor Dave Meltzer speculated that Becky Lynch’s recent statements suggesting her contract is coming up for expiration is a “work.”
Meltzer elaborated, explaining that it is known to be a work is because she just recently signed a “one million dollar per-year new deal last year (2019)” and that all new WWE contracts seem to be running five years in length.
Earlier today, Becky Lynch took to Twitter to deny that report.
“Report not true,” said Lynch in a tweet posted on Friday. “[I] haven’t signed anything new in years.”
The Man concluded by writing, “Deal coming up soon.”
