The discussions behind-the-scenes in WWE for “big-name opponents” for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 in April are starting to get more and more interesting.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com, Lesnar is booked for WrestleMania, however is it being reported that his opponent is currently not expected to be either Cain Velasquez or Tyson Fury, despite previous rumors to the contrary.
For what it’s worth, WWE Hall Of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland has also been in the news as possibly returning to wrestling in 2020, but he’s also been dismissed as a potential Lesnar opponent.
That would leave a Lesnar match a complete question mark as Bill Goldberg has already been done, The Undertaker would be a “bad idea” and Shawn Michaels has indicated that he has no interest in wrestling again.
WrestleMania 36 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 5, 2020 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Make sure to join us here on 4/5 for LIVE results coverage of the show.
