As noted, Jeff Hardy has been released by WWE after being sent home from a live event.

Shortly after the news broke, WWE talents already began commenting on the story on social media.

Big E. took to his Twitter page on Thursday to react to the news.

“Jeff Hardy is so beloved by his fans and his peers,” wrote the WWE Champion. “I’ve never heard a negative word about him and he’s always treated me with such kindness.”

He concluded, “Just wishing him and his family the very best.”
