Bobby Fish Undergoes Surgery, Rey Mysterio Injury Update, More on Swann

— According to Dave Meltzer at f4wonline.com, Bobby Fish underwent surgery today to repair some minor tears in both his ACL and MCL that he suffered on Sunday. Fish will be out of action for around six month and there will be a storyline to explain the situation with the NXT tag team titles.

— The diagnosis is in for Rey Mysterio and the result is that he suffered a Grade One tear of his left bicep. There is no timetable for his return to in-ring action, but the injury is not deemed that serious and as noted before, is not expected to impact his ongoing negotiations with WWE regarding a return this year.

— Rich Swann’s retirement message was in response to indie promotions getting heat for booking him for their events. While Swann said he will fulfill all his commitments and then retire, the belief is that he’ll likely change his mind.
