— WWE has released multiple wrestlers in 2021 but perhaps none was shocking as Bray Wyatt who was let go on July 31 amid confusion and much speculation. Wyatt, who had not been seen since a WrestleMania loss to Randy Orton was rumored to have been kept on the sidelines for “health” issues before getting his release with the usual “budget cuts” as the reason. Fightful.com reports that much of these rumors were actually false as people connected to Wyatt noted that his absence had nothing to do with “falsely reported mental health issues” and that he was fully healthy and actually working on adding creative elements to have his character which we would have seen tonight on Raw. The report adds that Wyatt was cleared to return and there were creative plans to place for his return and that his absence in May and June was due to “family engagements” that he had previously committed to.
— On a somewhat related note, Bray Wyatt tweeted after a long time, teasing that we have not seen the last of him and/or The Fiend.
