Bret Hart had another injury scare on Saturday night.
After surviving the fan attack at the WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony earlier this year, “The Hitman” avoided disaster yet again after an accident backstage at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As seen during the broadcast on Saturday evening, the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer appeared in the ring for a segment designed to introduce the AEW World Heavyweight Championship belt (View Here).
When exiting the ring and heading to the backstage area, Bret reportedly slipped on the stairs after coming through the curtain. According to PWInsider.com, Hart simply missed a step and took a tumble, falling down as a result.
Apparently the slip happened because Hart came back through the curtain to a different area backstage than the one he had entered from. AEW President Tony Khan noted after the event that the pro wrestling legend is okay despite the scare.
