Well, it’s official. Daniel Cormier is a big Bret Hart fan.
The reigning UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion, who is expected to fight Brock Lesnar in his return to the Octagon later this year or early next year, enthusiastically announced that the WWE Hall Of Famer was in attendance at the UFC On FOX 30 show last night.
D.C. spoke about “The Hitman,” who is a Calgary native, being among those in attendance inside the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the FOX commentary during the show.
“The Intercontinental Champion, the tag team champion, the WWE Champion,” said Cormier on the broadcast, as the camera panned to Hart sitting in the crowd. “He’s the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be, “The Hit Man” Bret Hart! Welcome Bret to the UFC!”
