Last Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam PPV saw the returns of two of the biggest Superstars in the professional wrestling industry in “The Beast” Brock Lesnar and “The Man” Becky Lynch. With Lynch becoming the new SmackDown Women’s Champion and Brock interrupting WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and staring him down, both these massive Superstars are believed to be on the SmackDown roster. It looks like we will see Lesnar and Lynch make an appearance on SmackDown this Friday from the VyStar Veterans Memorial in in Jacksonville, Florida for the post-SummerSlam episode of the show.
WWE has not officially announced Lesnar and Lynch to appear on SmackDown this Friday, but the company recently aired a promo for the blue brand, where it was teased that we will find out what is next for “The Beast” Brock Lesnar and “The Man” Becky Lynch. As of this writing, both the WWE and VyStar sites have not made a listing for Lesnar and Lynch to appear on Friday’s SmackDown and neither has WWE made an official preview for Friday’s SmackDown aside from the video promo, but it seems that the WWE site has not updated their listing since the SummerSlam PPV.
If Lesnar does appear on SmackDown this coming Friday night, then it would be his first appearance on the show since November 1, 2019, and if Lynch makes an appearance as well, then it would be her first appearance on SmackDown since the October 4, 2019 episode. Lynch is reportedly set to be the top heel on the SmackDown brand moving forward, while Lesnar is expected to face Roman Reigns in a title match down the line.
