It looks like a former UFC Heavyweight Champion will be turning up at Lucha Libre AAA’s TripleMania XXVII.
Mexican heavyweight superstar Cain Velasquez was at the press conference in Mexico City, Mexico on Tuesday to promote the big event set for this coming August.
Velasquez, who is still currently under contract fighting actively for the UFC, will be allowed by the MMA promotion to work what is considered in Mexico to be one of the two biggest annual pro wrestling events. CMLL’s anniversary shows that generally take place every September, are also a big annual tradition.
The TripleMania 27 show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 3rd at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City, Mexico.
