Cesaro Emotional Statement After WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

The #1 Contender's Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Universal Championship last night saw Daniel Bryan come out of the match with a huge victory, but Cesaro, despite not winning the match, lasted 32 minutes and 50 seconds and had a hell of a match.

Cesaro and Daniel Bryan had a back-and-forth a few times and Cesaro even seemed to gain some momentum when he hit Daniel Bryan with a Super Gut-buster from the top and followed it up with a Cesaro Swing. Unfortunately for Cesaro, Jey Uso hit him with a superkick out of nowhere, who then hit Cesaro with a Frogsplash and pinned him. Daniel Bryan then went on to win the match.

An emotional Cesaro then took to Twitter immediately following Elimination Chamber and reacted to his performance. Cesaro said, “I’ve been driving for an hour in silence. I don’t really know what to say. So close. Thanks to everyone who believed and still does. I still do. I appreciate you. Always.”

NXT announcer Wade Barrett then took to Twitter and offered some encouraging words to Cesaro, telling the Swiss Superman to “keep buying a ticket” and eventually he will win. “Keep buying a ticket, Toni. Eventually you will win,” said Wade Barrett.
