WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte recently spoke with Brian Fritz to promote this Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. During the discussion, which you can watch via the video player embedded above, Charlotte not only spoke about this Sunday’s big Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Elimination Match, she also discussed next year’s WrestleMania in Orlando.
When asked what is on her mind regarding WrestleMania 33, which goes down on March 31st from the Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium in Florida, the daughter of the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair noted that she wants to do something special with her robe like she did at WrestleMania 32 earlier this year.
“Just the robe,” said Charlotte. “I want to do something special for my robe again. The blue one at ‘Mania was basically pieces from my dad’s old one that he wore when he retired. So, I want to do something special like that but in terms of who I’d like to wrestle, I just hope at this point that I’m on the card because it’s still so early. The division has so many talented women, anything could change.”
Regarding the Women’s Elimination Match scheduled for this Sunday night, Charlotte pointed out that Survivor Series will be the first time all of the Four Horsewomen (Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch) are on the same pay-per-view together since they joined the main WWE roster.
“‘Raw’ wants to be the better brand, ‘SmackDown’ wants to be the better brand. A bunch of alphas on both brands,” said Charlotte when asked about the Women’s Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown LIVE showdown. “I had a blast stealing Nikki’s (Bella) spotlight on ‘SmackDown’ this past Tuesday. It will be the first time all of the Four Horsewomen are all on the same pay-per-view together since we all debuted on the main roster, which is crazy to think. I’m looking forward to being on the other side, not Nattie (Natalya) again.”
