As noted earlier today, Chelsea Green suffered a broken left wrist in her debut match on last night’s Friday Night Smackdown.
Reports suggested she was expected to win that match and the early injury ended up forcing a change in the finish.
Green tweeted last night from the hospital while undergoing treatment and has since confirmed that she had to undergo surgery to repair the damage.
Her fiance, Matt Cardona, who is the former Zack Ryder in WWE, also shared that news on Instagram.
Just like the rest of my career, I couldn’t have an easy debut! LOL, that just wouldn’t be fit for my wild journey.
