Last March 10th, top AEW Star Chris Jericho filed to trademark the “Jericho Appreciation Society” and the “JAS” terms with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for entertainment services as well as for merchandising purposes. The trademark filings were done through Michael E. Dockins who has helped several Indie wrestling stars and AEW Stars file their trademarks as well.
Jericho Appreciation Society is the name of top AEW Star Chris Jericho’s new faction, which he formed this past week on Dynamite during an in-ring segment that also featured Eddie Kingston. Chris Jericho made his way down to the ring and said in a promo that he did not deliver on his promise to shake the hands of Eddie Kingston after Kingston defeated him in their match at Revolution. Eddie Kingston then made his way down to the ring and had an exchange of word with Chris Jericho until they finally shook hands.
Daniel Garcia and 2point0 then made their way down to the ring and attacked Eddie Kingston, while the inaugural AEW World Champion was laid out until Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia and Matt Lee and Jeff Parker of 2point0 completely destroyed Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz. After Kingston was put through a table by Hager, Jericho grabbed a microphone and said this was the Jericho Appreciation Society and this is entertainment. As previously reported, this week’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of Dynamite will feature a Jericho Appreciation Society Commencement segment.
