While the legal aspects of his premature contract termination and his availability to wrestle for a rival promotion remain unclear, a report from Haus of Wrestling suggests that Punk has no plans to sue AEW President Tony Khan over his release.
Instead, it appears that Punk is focused on moving on with his life and avoiding litigation. The report describes his situation as one where he is breathing a “sigh of relief,” possibly due to the desire to put behind the drama that followed him upon his return to AEW earlier this summer.
On the AEW side, there haven’t been any indications of legal action being pursued by Tony Khan at this point, at least not yet. The situation seems to be relatively quiet for now.
