Kenny Omega’s contact with AEW runs for four years and is the largest/longest contract he’s ever signed, while still giving him opportunities for outside projects and cross-over potential with NJPW. Omega also mentioned that his negotiations with WWE were much more pleasant than others had led him onto believe.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio, that one of the storylines that WWE pitched to AEW’s new talent – Cody, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, was for them to lead some sort of “invasion” storyline leading into WrestleMania.
