Cody Rhodes Talks About Plans To Run For Senate In Georgia, Expand Further Into Hollywood

TNT Champion Cody Rhodes continues to make the media rounds to promote tonight’s AEW Full Gear 2020 pay-per-view, where he is scheduled to defend his title against Darby Allin.

During a recent interview with the folks from Bleacher Report, “The American Nightmare” spoke on his desire to expand into the political and acting arenas at this point in his career.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the new Bleacher Report interview with Cody Rhodes.

On having a desire to run for the Senate in Georgia: “I’m 35, and I said I only wanted to wrestle for five more years. I have political aspirations. I would love to run for the Senate in the great state of Georgia. I want to help with the sphere of influence I have created. I always say if you do the work, it will pay off. That is why I love Brandi. She is so incredibly hardworking, and we have to remind each other to be present often, but when we are it’s very special.”

On wanting to take on more acting roles: “I have a ton of desire to do more acting so long as it doesn’t conflict with my job here.”
