— According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, while no one knows the nature of the WWE/FOX contract, there is always a chance that if ratings bomb, the company may get desperate enough to end the brand split and have wrestlers appear on both shows.  

— While there is a slim chance that could happen, the more likely scenario would be for FOX to move Smackdown to FS1, where the show would do fine relatively speaking.   Because FOX is airing Smackdown on network TV, there is likely an out-clause for them to back out of the deal if the numbers aren’t there but no one expects this to happen.
