As advertised, Tuesday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live on the USA Network saw the crowning of brand new SmackDown Tag-Team Champions.
On this week’s edition of SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan and Rowan ended up becoming the new tag champions for the blue brand after defeating The Usos.
Shane McMahon was initially going to simply crown the duo as the champs after The Hardy Boyz vacated the belts, but The Usos made a surprise appearance (by virtue of the new Wild Card rule) and the two teams wrestled for the championship instead.
When all was said-and-done, Rowan and Daniel Bryan walked away with the gold. Check out highlights of their match against The Usos, a backstage interview after the match and their first-ever photo shoot as the new SmackDown Tag-Team Champions below.
