By now, everyone is aware of the fact that Brock Lesnar pushed Daniel Cormier at UFC 226, setting up a potential fight against the UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion when he returns to the Octagon in early 2019.
During a recent interview with the folks at Instinct Culture, the UFC “Champ-Champ” joked about the fact that Lesnar may have pushed him because he knows he is friends with another WWE Superstar, “The Architect” Seth Rollins.
“Maybe that’s why [Lesnar’s] mad at me because I’m friends with Seth Rollins,” Cormier told Instinct Culture. “I got a text message from Seth right after the fight. He goes, ‘congratulations now go kick Brock’s ass,'” D.C. revealed.
“That’s what I’m gonna do,” he added.”
