David Benoit, the 26-year-old son of the late, infamous, Chris Benoit, recently appeared as a guest on “The Pro & Bro Wrestling Podcast” for an interview. During the discussion, David referenced All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
“I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW,” said David during the podcast appearance, before stating that he’d 100-percent be open to joining AEW if the opportunity were to arise.
“I want to go to AEW,” said David. “One-hundred percent.”
He added, “I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.”
In an update, Ryan Satin from ProWrestlingSheet.com adds that David Benoit is claiming that he is no longer welcome backstage at WWE shows.

Additional interesting note from this article, David Benoit claims he’s no longer allowed to be backstage at WWE events. He doesn’t say why, but I noticed the last time he was there in March he was photographed wearing an AEW jacket backstage. https://t.co/f14nIZ5IAI
