— As reported earlier today, AEW President Tony Khan held a talent meeting prior to tonight’s Dynamite show in which it was rumored that he would likely be addressing online reports of trouble brewing backstage amongst the wrestlers. PWInsider.com reports that Khan led the meeting in an “animated and impassioned” way and discussed in detail a lot of the changes that he has implemented within AEW, such as expansion and restructure within talent relations and development) highlighting how overall, it is good news for the talent.
— Khan continued to emphasize that wrestling was an industry that has “long been dominated by WWE” but that he had put a lot of time and energy into making things better for the wrestlers. The topic of WWE reportedly tampering with contracted AEW wrestlers was also touched on and Khan noted that prior to the meeting AEW’s Chief Legal Officer, Megha Parekh, sent an email to WWE CEOs Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan warning them “not to tamper” with AEW talent.

They added that recent rumors about a lack of access to Khan was addressed giving the alternatives on who they can talk to if necessary with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks stating that their doors are always open for discussion. Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho were two others who reportedly spoke at the meeting.
