— While not confirmed by WWE, Cody Rhodes appears headed back to the promotion according to multiple sources and there has been discussion on debate on how he will come across in WWE. The WrestleVotes account reports that two “very high profile people” were lobbying adamantly to Vince McMahon that if/when Cody arrives, he should be portrayed exactly how he was while in AEW. Specifically, his presentation, ring gear, theme music, pyro, etc. should be nearly identical to the way it was in AEW and that there should be a visual impact of the “American Nightmare” crossing the line over to WWE. Whether this happens or not is still unclear as Vince obviously has the final say.
