WWE Superstars were apparently among those backstage at the latest All Elite Wrestling (AEW) pay-per-view event.
According to Fightful Select, there were a number of WWE Superstars who were visiting AEW, as multiple talents under contract to WWE were among those in attendance behind-the-scenes at the most recent AEW PPV show, which was AEW Double Or Nothing 2020.
The report notes that the WWE Superstars who were in attendance at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 PPV at the Daily’s Place amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida this past May received COVID-19 tests per the company’s safety protocol. If they hadn’t, they would not have been able to attend or visit backstage during the show.
It’s worth noting that when the WWE Superstars attended the AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 PPV back in May, this was the time period when WWE was only administering temperature checks to talent and others attending their regular television shoots and PPV events at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. at the time, as opposed to complete, extensive Coronavirus exams, as WWE did not begin with those until mid-June despite multiple COVID-19 outbreaks taking place within that timeframe.
The report notes that the tests given to the WWE Superstars at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 PPV were most likely the first they had ever received, which is ironic considering it only took place as a result of them visiting friends at a competitor’s event.

As far as AEW PPVs are concerned, while the AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 event in May was the last special event from the promotion, All Elite Wrestling will return with their latest PPV offering this evening, Saturday, November 7, 2020, as they present their AEW Full Gear 2020 show this evening from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
