The details are starting to surface regarding WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia and after a chaotic last visit that saw their roster stuck due to massive travel issues, it will be interesting to see which Superstars flat out refuse to make the trip this time around.
With WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia scheduled for either 2/27 or 2/20, it remains to be seen which wrestlers end up going and which decide to stay home.
Given the incidents that occurred last time delaying almost everyone from getting home as well as the current situation in the Middle East and escalating tension between the U.S. and Iran, there could be spouses and family members who don’t want their loved ones to go over to that part of the world.
Even before the problems with Iran, several wrestlers had already vowed that they wouldn’t go back after all the problems getting back home last year.
Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan and John Cena were three high profile stars who informed WWE officials they would not be going and it’s unclear how many from the most recent trip have also decided they won’t go back either.
