This past Sunday night’s NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day Event saw Johnny Gargano successfully retain his NXT North American Title against KUSHIDA. During Gargano’s ring entrance, Austin Theory was taken and went missing for the remainder of the match. WWE is reportedly doing a storyline where the person who is believed to be behind Austin Theory’s disappearance is none other than Dexter Lumis.
It appeared Lumis rendered Theory unconscious after placing a towel over his mouth and nose, implying it was chloroform and it appears that the WWE will now be moving forward with an angle between Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano. It also appears that the official Twitter account of Austin Theory has been hacked by Dexter Lumis. Indi Hartwell has also been upset about Theory’s disappearance.
