An update on the Rey Fenix and AEW situation.
Fenix’s merchandise page has mysteriously disappeared from AEW’s online shop as first reported by Wrestling Inc. When trying to access the ShopAEW page for Fenix, users are met with a 404 error, and a search for his merchandise yields no results.
However, the former International Champion remains listed on AEW’s official roster page—albeit with outdated information. He’s still shown as part of the Lucha Bros and the Death Triangle, two factions that no longer exist in the company’s current storyline landscape. With Penta’s recent departure to WWE, the Lucha Bros tag team effectively dissolved, and with PAC now aligned with the Death Riders, the Death Triangle is no more.
Fenix had injury time added on to his AEW contract. He made headlines last month by tweeting that AEW and its President Tony Khan were mistreating him. The tweets have since been deleted.
