— The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, finished up with IMPACT Wrestling this weekend and are now officially free agents. Their original IMPACT contracts expired in July but a short-term extension was agreed upon to have Gallows and Anderson work through the last series of tapings which concluded on Saturday. The tag team is now going to be focusing on New Japan Pro Wrestling moving forward according to pwinsider.com even though there had been recent interest from WWE in bringing back the duo.
— The report adds that WWE’s overtures happened at a time when Vince McMahon was still in control of the company but talks between the two sides fizzled out because Gallows and Anderson, didn’t want to return to WWE under a cheap contract after their last go around where they were released very soon after picking WWE over AEW and signing long-term deals. With Vince now gone, it’s unclear if the new Triple H-led regime will have any interest in bringing in the team.
