Documentary About Hulk Hogan-Gawker Legal Battle Premiering At Sundance Film Festival

The Sundance Film Festival in January is reportedly going to feature a documentary about the legal battle between Hulk Hogan and Gawker. Hogan won the lawsuit, which stemmed from Gawker posting his sex tape with Bubba The Love Sponge’s ex-wife online. Here’s the synopsis for the film, which is titled Nobody Speak:

NOBODY SPEAK: Hulk Hogan, Gawker and Trials of a Free Press / U.S.A. (Director: Brian Knappenberger) — The trial between Hulk Hogan and Gawker Media pitted privacy rights against freedom of the press, and raised important questions about how big money can silence media. This film is an examination of the perils and duties of the free press in an age of inequality. World Premiere

The film is directed by Brian Knappenberger, who is known for other documentaries about internet-based crimes like The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz.
