Former IMPACT Wrestling commentator Don West took to social media this week to give his fans an update on his cancer status.
West first announced that he has been diagnosed with brain lymphoma in a letter he sent out back in June. In an update shared via his Twitter account on Tuesday, he noted that the well-wishes from fans have been boosting his spirits and that he is adamant about beating the cancer and getting back on the air again.
He wrote the following in the statement he posted this week:
“I know that i am going through a tough deal but seeing all of your well wishes has boosted my spirit tremendously. Thank you to everyone for your support and your prayers and your kindness and I am going to beat this cancer so that I can go on the air again.”
