Drake Maverick’s ongoing attempt to recapture the WWE 24/7 Championship and finally “consummate his marriage” to Renee Michelle continued on Saturday, as the former WWE 24/7 Champion attacked current title-holder R-Truth while disguised as a John Cena super-fan at the WWE SummerSlam Meet & Greet event.
WWE released video footage of Maverick setting up the plan, buying and putting on the disguise and bringing the referee with him to attempt to sneak-attack R-Truth from behind to re-claim the WWE 24/7 Championship.
