“The Rated-R Superstar” isn’t bummed that his longtime friend Christian has parted ways with WWE and jumped-ship to make his own return to the ring for AEW while he enjoys his long-awaited comeback in front of the WWE Universe.
During a recent appearance on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast to promote the two-night WrestleMania 37 extravaganza, where “The Rated-R Superstar” will challenge for the WWE Universal Championship, the WWE Hall Of Fame legend shared his thoughts on Christian Cage returning in All Elite Wrestling.

“I’m not bummed. I want him to be happy and I want him to get the respect that he deserves because I’d like for him to get the on-air respect that the locker room shows him. If you ask anyone within our industry, he’s a name where people go, ‘Man, that dude.’ Watch Steve [Austin] and Randy [Orton] talk about [Christian] and what he brings to the table. I want him to be wherever he’s going to get that respect.”
