Eminem/WWE Update (3/13/2019)

With WrestleMania season comes a wide variety of rumors and speculation.

This year is no different.

Fightful reported on Tuesday that Eminem and WWE reached an agreement that would see the famed rapper contribute to this year's WWE 2K20 video game soundtrack, as well as appear on WWE SmackDown Live this fall when WWE moves the weekly program from the USA Network to FOX.

In an update, Pro Wrestling Sheet spoke with Eminem's spokesperson Dennis Dennehy, who disputes the claims.

"There was a very brief, exploratory conversation that involved a third party and 2K Sports, not Eminem’s team," Dennehy told Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin (@RyanSatin) regarding the initial reports. "It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false."

Dennehy concluded, "Right now there are no plans to further pursue it."
