UPDATE: WWE has now released Enzo Amore; he is gone from the company.
— An unnamed woman took to Twitter today to accuse WWE Cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore of raping her inside a hotel room last year in October. She came forward on social media and then proceeded to provide graphic details of what went down.
— The local police in Phoenix is reportedly investigating this complaint and in the meantime, WWE – in line with their no tolerance policy on such matters – has suspended Enzo effective immediately and pending the results of the investigation, releasing the following statement:
“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”
