Eric Bischoff Was Shocked To Find Out This WWE Legend Has No Ties With AEW

Eric Bischoff was surprised to learn about one particular pro wrestling veteran having no ties whatsoever to All Elite Wrestling.

During a recent edition of his 83 Weeks podcast, the former WCW Executive Vice President spoke at length about his belief that a veteran such as Bully Ray, a.k.a. Bubba Ray Dudley of The Dudley Boyz, would be extremely beneficial for a promotion like AEW, whether it be in front of the camera or behind-the-scenes use of the tag-team legend.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the new episode of the 83 Weeks podcast where Bischoff talks about Bully Ray not being involved with AEW.

On being surprised that Bully Ray isn’t in AEW: “There’s not a lot of really experienced, talented people who understand the art of creating emotion, and that’s what Bully was best at. I don’t know why Bully’s not there in AEW because he’s valuable.”

On his respect level for Chris Jericho but believing AEW could still benefit from a veteran such as Bully Ray: “There’s some really talented people there, and obviously, Chris Jericho is maybe one of the most creative people right now. But wouldn’t you like to have 2, or 3, or 4 people that have Chris Jericho’s kind of experience and feel, but maybe come at it from a couple different perspectives so you have options? I would think somebody like AEW would really benefit from Bully’s experience.”
